This is exciting !!! My first blog ….

I’m speechless, ha ha ( I’m speechless most of the time, except when I’m asked to talk about running !! )

Today I will briefly explain my nickname “Rik RoadRunner”

It has nothing to do with the big bird in Wile E Coyote cartoons, even though I would love to think that I’m that fast

Since my first ever run I’ve realised that I don’t like running on grass, mud, sand, puddles, gravel and so on.

I like to land my feet on a smooth surface like roads and pavements. When people asked me to try “mud runs” or “trail runs” I would say to them “No thanks, I’m a Road Runner” and that’s why Rik RoadRunner stuck!

That’s it for today, this blogging stuff is exhausting.
